Encanto centers on the Madrigals, a multigenerational Colombian family headed by a matriarch (Botero), whose offspring, with the exception of Mirabel Madrigal, are blessed with miraculous supernatural talents that enable them to better the lives of those in their small town of Encanto. Mirabel sets out on a mission to figure out what is occurring, save her family, and restore the family's magical home after learning that they are losing their power.
