Tip #2 - A more neutral/less expressive word:

"Creative language is an instrument for communicating with others. If there is no matching phrase in the target language, a translator may choose a less emotive or impartial expression"

The line "I'm as tough as the crust of the planet is" is rendered as "ฟาดให้สิ้นแค่ก้อนหินก้อนเบ้อเร่อนี่" [minute 0:12]

Crust is the hard exterior covering of anything, such as a pie or the crust of the planet. It was rendered as ก้อนหิน [BT: rock] in the target text, which is the dry solid portion of the earth's surface or any size stone.

In the original text, rock is only a tiny part of the term and feels less than crust. It shows that the translator used a less emotional language to convey this phrase.
