Tip #8 - Illustration

Illustration is a wise decision if the term that cannot be translated into the target language pertains to a demonstrable identification.

At minute 0:41, the sentence "แสร้งทำหน้าชื่น แต่อกฉันตรม" occurs and is rendered as "So much conceals behind my grin" in the original language.

This phrase แต่อกฉันตรม eloquently conveys the difficulties that must be hidden from others, illustrating the sorrow buried behind the simile.

There are also intriguing descriptive terms that are frequently used in literary works to pique the audience's interest in the target language.

With the help of this technique, readers can better understand the characters' feelings, and the music can communicate its meaning more eloquently and succinctly. Furthermore, this illustration allows the written material to avoid repetition and be concise for the audience's benefit.
