When comparing the target language to the source language, the target language has a relative absence of specificity, so a more broad phrase is used to compensate.

The phrase "ไม่สะเทินภูเขาที่เผชิญหน้า" minute 1:48 is a Thai rendition of "as it heard how big the iceberg".

Icebergs are pieces of ice that have split off from glaciers or shelf ice and are drifting in the open ocean. Although Iceberg can also be rendered as ภูเขาน้ำแข็ง, the broader term in Thai ภูเขา [BT: Mountain] is used instead.

Without specifying the type or location of the mountain, the word "mountain" conveys the intended meaning. Because icebergs are nonexistent in the target language setting, translators use a broader term so that it is comprehensible for readers in the target language.
